About this forest
This is a 270 hectare forest. It is part of a larger connected mass of forests that includes Doon, Jenkin, Knocks, Tully, Mullaghfad, Grogey, Crocknagrally and Fardross forests. Together they cover 8,000 hectares, spilling down from the Slieve Beagh plateau.
There is a viewpoint and car park next to the Carnmore Road.
How to get there
The forest is signposted four miles from Dernawilt Cross on the B36 Donagh to Roslea Road.
