Sillees Forest

Sillees Forest is a collection of small, mostly coniferous forest blocks covering 570 hectares, beside the Sillees river.

Activities

There are no facilities for recreational activities. The public are welcome to visit this forest on foot.

There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations so pay attention to safety signage.

About this forest

The individual forest blocks in Sillees Forest are Lenaghan, Killmore, Kilnamadoo, Coolyermer, Glencunny, Muckenagh, Ross, Drumharriff, Corraglass, and Tullycarbery which is one mile from Derrygonnelly.

How to get there

The forest blocks lie along the Sillees River and are easily reached from Enniskillen, Boho and Derrygonnelly.
