Jenkin Forest
Jenkin Forest is an upland, mostly coniferous forest that is accessible from the Alderwood and Mullaghfad roads, near Fivemiletown.
Activities
The Ulster Way and the Slieve Beagh Way pass through this forest. Walkers can use forest roads for casual walking.
There are fishing stands at Jenkin's Lough. You need a valid rod licence and permit to fish in the lough.

There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations so pay attention to safety signage.
About this forest
This forest is part of a larger connected mass of forests. These include Carnmore, Doon, Knocks, Tully, Mullaghfad, Grogey, Crocknagrally and Fardross forests. They cover 8,000 hectares lying into the Slieve Beagh plateau.
How to get there
Access to the car park at Jenkin's Lough is from Jenkin Road, off the Mullaghfad Road about one mile from Cooneen.
