Florence Court Forest Park
Florence Court Forest Park is on Cuilcagh Mountain and covers 1,200 hectares. This old estate forest and moorland adjoin the National Trust's Florence Court House and property.
Activities
There is a large car park, visitor reception centre, toilets, waymarked walking and cycle trails. There is also pony trekking and a Touring in the Trees site in this forest park. Visitors can enjoy the facilities that are offered by the National Trust at Florence Court House, in the heart of the forest.
There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations so pay attention to safety signage.
The forest is open every day from 10.00 am until sunset. Entrance charges apply to visitors, both pedestrians and vehicles.
About this forest
The park offers widely contrasting habitats, from open mountain and blanket bog to coniferous forest. The old estate woodland features many mature oaks, some planted around 200 years ago.
A few miles away the separate coniferous forest block of Doohatty lies at the foot of Benaughlin Mountain.
How to get there
Florence Court Forest Park is nine miles from Enniskillen off the A32 Swanlinbar Road via the Marble Arch Road and Mullan Road.
