Castle Archdale Forest
This is a 520 hectare mixed broadleaved and coniferous lowland forest that lies along the shore of Lough Erne and includes a number of islands. The forest can be accessed from Castle Archdale Country Park.
About this forest
Way-marked walking and cycling trails can be accessed from the car park, which is beside the ruins of Castle Archdale.
Lough Erne cruisers can dock at the jetty close to the car park and make use of the facilities. Davy's Island with its old church ruins and informal paths can be accessed by boat.
Occasionally there may be restricted access to parts of the forest due to forest work so pay attention to safety information on signage.
How to get there
The main car park is about four miles from Lisnarrick off the B82 Enniskillen to Kesh road at the Aghinver junction.
