Lough Bradan Forest
Lough Bradan is a 2,115 hectare coniferous forest about five miles west of Drumquin.
Activities
The public are welcome to visit this forest on foot. There are no recreational facilities in Lough Bradan. Walkers can access the main lough which acts as a reservoir for the area.
There are fishing facilities at Lough Bradan and Lough Lee. You need a valid rod licence and angling permit to fish in the loughs.
There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations. Pay attention to safety signage
About this forest
This is a mostly coniferous forest managed for commercial timber production. Visitors must not block forest or reservoir access by parking at the gateways.
How to get there
Follow the B84 Drumquin to Dromore road for one mile. Turn right onto the Bradan Road and travel for four miles.
