Glenderg Forest
Glenderg Forest is a large upland coniferous forest. The adjoining Slievedoo Forest and Glenderg cover almost 4,000 hectares.
Activities
There are no facilities for recreation activities. The public are welcome to visit the forests on foot.
There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations. Pay attention to safety signage.
About this forest
These forests merge with the Coillte-managed Pettigoe forests in County Donegal.
How to get there
There is a parking lay-by at the forest entrance off the Tullycar Road. This can be reached by following the Aghyaran Road out of Castlederg for about 15 miles.
