Baronscourt Forest

This is an estate forest which lies to the south west of Newtownstewart.

Activities

There are no facilities for recreational activities. The public are welcome to visit this forest on foot.

There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations. Pay attention to safety signage.

About this forest

The Forest Service manages a small part of Baronscourt Forest. The Duke of Abercorn owns most of the forest, the estate house and offices.

How to get there

This forest is on the B84 Baronscourt Road, roughly five miles from Newtownstewart.
