Roe Valley Country Park, Limavady
This picturesque and peaceful park on the outskirts of Limavady offers riverside woodland walks along the River Roe.
In light of the Met Office red weather warning for severe winds on Friday 24 January, you are strongly advised not to visit any forests, country parks and nature reserves until the weather warning is over. Sites will be closed to vehicle access as far as possible during the warning, as will public facilities, including visitor centres, cafés and toilets.
Entrance is free
You can explore the area's cultural past and the historical remnants of the industry that once thrived there to harness the power of the river. Seasonal salmon and trout fishing is available under permit from the local angling club. There are picnic facilities and a café on-site.
