Ness Country Park, Derry/Londonderry
55 hectares of mixed woodland along with open parkland make up Ness Country Park which extends along both sides of the Burntollet River.
In light of the Met Office red weather warning for severe winds on Friday 24 January, you are strongly advised not to visit any forests, country parks and nature reserves until the weather warning is over. Sites will be closed to vehicle access as far as possible during the warning, as will public facilities, including visitor centres, cafés and toilets.

Enjoy over seven kilometres of tranquil riverside walks with a stunning waterfall and a natural themed play park. For less able visitors there is a meadow walk with easy access. There is a visitor centre and picnic facilities.
