Loughgall Forest

Loughgall Forest has a mixture of conifer and broadleaf trees and is near the village of Loughgall. Find out what you can do there and how to get there.

Activities

'Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council' manage visitor facilities in Loughgall Forest. These include the car park, toilet facilities, pedestrian access to the woodland walking trails and exercise stations around the lake.

To arrange a special event or activity in this forest, such as car rallies, sporting events or educational visits, contact the council manager at Loughgall Country Park and Golf Course.

Occasionally there may be restricted access to parts of the forest during work or other forest operations so pay attention to safety signage.

How to get there

Travelling west on the M1 motorway to Junction 13, the village of Loughgall is reached via the B131 and B77 roads. The entrance to Loughgall Country Park is off the main street.
