Bus or coach accidents
The Police Service for Northern Ireland (PSNI) is responsible for investigating all road traffic accidents.
Trains

Rail accidents
The Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) is responsible for investigating accidents or incidents on UK railways, including Northern Ireland.
It's an independent body that investigates to improve safety.
Taxis
Never use an unlicensed taxi.
Do not use a taxi if the vehicle is not displaying the proper taxi licence signs or plates or the vehicle is in a state of disrepair.

If you’re unhappy with the fare, quality of vehicle, driving or behaviour of the driver, or any other issue, make a complaint to the driver or the taxi operator.
In more serious circumstances you may make your complaint to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
