You can check online to see if a taxi vehicle is licensed. You should not use a taxi if it is not displaying the proper taxi plates or labels.

How to check

You can find out if the taxi you have booked is licensed by typing in its Vehicle Registration Number (number plate) on this online service.

This service is to check Northern Ireland taxis only.
