Before installing any home energy generation technologies, minimise your energy demand by making sure your home is fully insulated, and that it has energy efficient lighting and appliances.

There are many things you can do to make your home warmer. Installing loft and cavity wall insulation not only lowers the amount of heat escaping, but could also cut your fuel bills. Find out more by watching the following video:
