Carer's Allowance: report changes online
Use the online service to report any changes in circumstances about your claim or application for Carer's Allowance.
Before you start
If you get Carer's Allowance or have applied for it, you need to report changes in your circumstances, including:
- you change, start or leave your job
- you start earning more than £151 a week
- you stop being a carer or stop providing 35 hours care a week
- changes to, or new benefits for you or the person you are caring for
- if you go into full-time education (21 hours or more a week of supervised study)
- a change of address for you or the person you're caring for
- breaks in caring, for example, holidays or a stay in hospital
- a temporary or permanent move abroad
What you’ll need
To use the online service, you need:
- your National Insurance number
- details of the person you’re caring for
- details of your changes
You can only use this service if you live in Northern Ireland. If you live in Great Britain you will need to visit GOV.UK website
