Derrynoid Forest is predominantly a broadleaved forest which was originally an estate owned by Judge Torrens in the 1700s.
Activities
There are waymarked walks and a picnic site next to the car park.
There may be restrictions on access to parts of the forest from time to time due to forest operations. Pay attention to safety signage.
About this forest
This forest consists of over 100 hectares of woodland planted since 1948.
How to get there
The entrance is on the Derrynoid Road, one and a half miles from Draperstown.
