Ballykelly Forest
Bought in 1910, Ballykelly Forest was the first state forest in Northern Ireland. Four and a half hectares of douglas fir were planted in 1912.
Activities
There are no facilities for recreational activities. The public are welcome to visit this forest on foot.
Occasionally there may be restricted access to due to forest works so pay attention to safety signage.

How to get there
Driving from Ballykelly (Walworth) to Derry/Londonderry, the forest car park is on the right about half a mile from the village.
