Community emergency planning

Recent emergencies have shown how members of the community help each other before, during and after emergencies.

Some communities in Northern Ireland have already developed local community emergency plans to plan how they will work together to help each other in an emergency.

The Regional Community Resilience Group was formed to help communities to prepare for emergencies. The group work with communities across Northern Ireland to support them to develop community emergency plans and improve preparedness in their area.
