Upper South Woodburn Reservoir (also known as Carrick Dams) can have low water levels in late summer. Work has been carried out to improve the number of wild young fish in this water.

How to get there
From Belfast, take the M5 and A2 towards Carrickfergus. As you go into Carrickfergus, take the B58 towards Ballynure. Go for almost a mile (at the Brown Cow Inn sign), fork left for 0.24 miles to cross the B90 at Woodburn village. Travel over the hump-back bridge to the car park beside Woodburn church.
