Angling at River Blackwater
This stretch of the River Blackwater, which lies mainly upstream of Blackwatertown Bridge, is available to DAERA permit holders on the right bank. This short stretch offers good game fishing water downstream of the island where there are several salmon areas.

How to get there
From Belfast
From M1 motorway junction 15, take the A29 through Moy towards Armagh. In Charlemont, turn left towards Blackwatertown. Access is on the right bank for 1.24 miles just upstream of Blackwatertown Bridge.
From Armagh
Take the A29 towards Moy. Turn left onto the B128 at McCready’s Corner, 2.98 miles from Armagh.
