Q fever
Symptoms include:
- temperature
- headache
- tiredness
- muscle ache
Q fever is a bacterial infection you can catch from infected farm animals such as sheep, cattle and goats. It's usually harmless but can cause serious problems in some people.
Quinsy
Symptoms include:
- pain
- swelling
- difficulty swallowing
- problems speaking
Quinsy, also known as a peritonsillar abscess, is a rare and potentially serious complication of tonsillitis. You should see your GP if you or your child have symptoms of quinsy.
