If the person who has died left a Will and you want to apply for probate, you can either do so online or use the NIPF1 application form.

More than four executors

This form allows up to four executors to apply.

If there are more than four executors, contact the Probate Office to ask for the relevant form.

Apply on paper

If you want to apply on paper, the application form below must be filled in by hand.

To apply:

print the form
fill out all sections that apply
fill out the checklist
download, print and fill out any relevant extra forms
sign and date the application (all applicants need to sign and date the form)
send your completed form, court fee, and supporting documents to the Probate Office
