Wheelchair seatbelt anchorages safety check in passenger vehicles

If you have a registered passenger vehicle and later on converted it to carry an occupied wheelchair, the seatbelt anchorage systems will need to be checked to make sure they meet safety requirements. For this check to take place you’ll need to fill in the form below.

Class B taxi:
If you have a registered vehicle and later on converted it to carry an occupied wheelchair because you now want to use the vehicle as a Class B taxi, the Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA) Northern Ireland needs to approve seatbelt anchorage systems to make sure they meet safety requirements.
