The group of documents below are digitised versions of the Corporation Minute Book, Volume 23 (5 March 1896 to 15 August 1901).

Details

This volume marks the change from minutes being recorded in formal calligraphic 'Copperplate' script to informal handwriting. The change occurs in the minutes taken on 16 November 1899 (see page 320).

Reports of the Corporation Committees are no longer included in the text of the minutes, there are now only notes of them having been submitted and approved by the Council.
