General information
Water quality and feeding are excellent in this lough. Trout growth rates are very good. There are good sized over wintered trout. The shores are almost all rocky and firm for wading, but fishing is not allowed in the fenced-off area at the pump house. The water is deeper and there is less weed growth near the east bank. There is also a good stock of pike and perch in the lough which attracts coarse anglers.
