Arts and culture
Getting involved in arts and culture is a way for you to learn and express yourself creatively, also allowing you to take part in and shape the surrounding culture.
Getting involved
Be it painting, making music, dance, literature or any of the wide range of activities available in Northern Ireland – taking part in the arts can be relaxing, exciting and rewarding.
There are a number of ways to get involved in arts and culture. There will be an arts officer in each local council area who may be contacted for further information.
The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is the funding and development body for the arts in Northern Ireland. It is the main support for artists and organisations, offering a broad range of funding opportunities. Information on funding opportunities for local artists and arts organisations, both past and present, can be found on the Arts Council website.
