Angling at Creighton's Green, Holywood
This is a large square-shaped body of water on the hills overlooking Belfast lough. The banks are exposed with limited natural cover so visitors should wrap up well during winter and early spring.
Creighton's Green, Holywood is closed for the rest of the season.
Health and safety
This is a deep reservoir with steep drop-offs around the dam wall. The dam walls are easily fished but care must be taken when they are wet. Children are not allowed on the dam walls during winter months.
There are safe wadding areas around the lake (to some degree) and the water is easily covered from the bank. Care must be taken on the western corner, where wading is unsafe due to deep silt and a deep drain near the shore. Danger signs are shown.
