Department for Communities - Exceptions team

The Department for Communities Exceptions team deals with exceptions to the two child limit for support for children with Income Support and Universal Credit.

If you have completed a NCC1NI(IS) form (Support for a child conceived without your consent) or an IC1NI(IS) form (Support for a child who is informally living with you), e-mail it to the Exceptions team at universalcredit.exceptions@dfcni.gov.uk,

Forms can only be received electronically and cannot be handed in at a local Jobs and Benefits office or received by post.

This service is for claimants in Northern Ireland only.
