Uploading proof of your identity for a criminal record check
You will need to upload proof of your identity to AccessNI to complete your application for a criminal record check. It will not be possible to submit your application without the uploaded identify documents. You need to use acceptable forms of identification.
Completing an AccessNI application
Your application for an AccessNI check cannot be submitted until you upload the correct identity documentation.
Acceptable forms of identification
You must upload two forms of acceptable ID to AccessNI.
Your application will move quicker if you provide your birth certificate and a second document containing your current name and a photo of yourself.
AccessNI does accept other forms of ID but these will take longer to process.
